Hello,

I'm using Protégé desktop 5.5.0 Beta 5 for Linux.

In "Individuals by class" tab, when I create a instance and click on add on "Object Property assertion", I'm getting this window

I'm supposed to type text in here. However, when I look at tutorials on youtube for example, I see this the following window instead:

Which seems more useful, I can just click on things, using the ontology I defined.

I tried to search the options but couldn't find how to enable this behaviour. Could you please let me know how?

Thanks a lot for the support and the awesome software.

Kind regards
Nicolas

I'm not sure where that other UI comes from, probably some plugin but in
case you aren't aware you can use type ahead in both those fields you
showed in the first UI. I find this very powerful and easy to use. So in
your example (assuming the only properties are the ones in the second
image) if you entered the first field for the property name and typed "b"
then control space it would auto-complete to "borders" and in the second
field (assuming those are the only two instances in the ontology) if you
again typed "b" and control space in the second field it would
auto-complete to Berlin. If you type control space and there is more than
one thing that matches what you've typed so far Protege will pop up a menu
with the various alternatives. The only thing to remember is that it
doesn't do any type checking in the property value field, so if the Range
of the property is the Nation class it will still auto-complete all the
individuals that match the text you've typed to that point, not just those
that are instances of the Nation class.
